For over 25 years, the Parsippany Education Foundation has given back to the students of the Parsippany-Troy Hills school district. Over $500,000 in grants and scholarships have been awarded to our 14 district schools and graduating seniors since 1996.

PEF board vice president, Tara Snellings presented the Board of Education with a check for $26,743.20 at the November 13, 2025 board meeting. Twenty-two grants were approved that ranged in scope from the arts and ESL support to elementary math manipulatives and reading literacy support; from new equipment in our Physical Education departments to initiatives that enrich our special needs student community. Thank you to all applicants for submitting such enriching proposals! Find a complete list of approved grants here.
Congratulations to our two Class of 2025 PEF Joseph Windish Memorial Scholarship winners! Both Isabella Rabadi from Parsippany Hills High School and Bhumika Chavan from Parsippany High School received a $5,000 scholarship which was generously provided by McCabe, Heidrich & Wong. All of us at the Parsippany Education Foundation wish these two well-deserving scholarship recipients the best of luck in college and beyond.
Through the It All Adds Up grant, over 500 students in 25 classrooms had access to engaging, hands-on games designed to strengthen their addition and subtraction skills- essential foundations for long-term success in mathematics. The impact of these math manipulatives was clear—and exciting. Students grew more confident in their math abilities, showed greater accuracy and fluency with basic facts, and became more open to taking risks in their learning. Teachers noticed that students weren’t just practicing math—they were genuinely enjoying it.
The Foundation raises funds throughout the year by hosting various events and through generous donations from Corporate and Community Members.
PEF awarded almost $27,000 in grants for the 2025-2026 school year!
Comfy for a Cause Day PTHSD staff fundraiser on November 5th was a big success! Thank you to all who participated.
Our annual Tom Ladas Memorial Golf Outing will be held on May 2026 once again. Stay tuned for more details!

The Parsippany Education Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1996 to enrich the opportunities and experiences of students in the Parsippany-Troy Hills School District. Its Board of Directors consists of volunteers committed to developing a community of learners. The Foundation awards proposals put forth by the three groups who have direct involvement in the learning process: students, educators, and parents. By encouraging a triadic approach to planning educational innovations, ideas will gain strength since they have the support of all three groups from the onset.
