Recent News

For over 25 years, the Parsippany Education Foundation has given back to the students of the Parsippany-Troy Hills school district. Over $420,000 in grants and scholarships have been awarded to our 14 district schools and graduating seniors since 1996.

PEF was honored at the November 18, 2021 Board of Education meeting for its 25 years of service to the school community. President Stella Gizas was presented with a commemorative plaque, and board member, Andrew Ladas, spoke on behalf of the Foundation.

PEF Awards $19,880.90 in '22-'23 Grants

PEF board members Stella Gizas and Dr. Gayle Strauss presented the Board of Education with a check for $19,880.90 at the January 5, 2023 board meeting. Fourteen grants were approved that ranged in scope from the arts and music to STEM and robotics; from elementary literacy programs to initiatives that enrich our special needs student community. $5,000 Parsippany Education Foundation -

Joseph Windish Memorial Scholarship

Sponsored by McCabe, Heidrich & Wong, PC

This year, thanks to a generous donation by McCabe, Heidrich & Wong, PC, the Parsippany Education Foundation awarded a $5,000 scholarship to one graduating senior at each of Parsippany's two high schools. We are proud to announce that the scholarship recipient at PHS for 2022 was Landon Weiss, and the recipient at PHHS was Kyra Stensgaard. Congratulations, Landon and Kyra, and best of luck in college!

Lake Parsippany School's

"One Book, One School" Event

All 231 of Lake Parsippany's K-5th grade students received a copy of the book, Toys! Amazing Stories Behind Some Great Inventions. The entire school and their families participated in fun events, contests and activities centered around the book. A fun & educational time was had by all. Announcements & Upcoming Events

The Foundation raises funds throughout the year by hosting various events and through generous donations from Corporate and Community Members.

  • Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Tom Ladas Memorial Golf Outing on June 7th, and to our Premier Sponsor, Doyle Alliance Group! It was a tremendous success and a fun time was had by all.

  • Our first 3v3 Youth Soccer Tournament fundraiser at Parsippany Hills High School Athletic Fields was held on Saturday, July 30th.

The Foundation is a listed recipient of the United Way of Morris County and participates in Blue Foundry Bank's Community Alliance Program (CAP). Since we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization, tax-deductible donations to the Foundation may be matched by corporations as well. Please check with your employer.

The Parsippany Education Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1996 to enrich the opportunities and experiences of students in the Parsippany-Troy Hills School District. Its Board of Directors consists of volunteers committed to developing a community of learners. The Foundation awards proposals put forth by the three groups who have direct involvement in the learning process: students, educators, and parents. By encouraging a triadic approach to planning educational innovations, ideas will gain strength since they have the support of all three groups from the onset.
